Braintree is an end-to-end payments platform that makes it easy to accept payments in your app or website. With Braintree your customers(Students and guardians) will be able to pay their tuition fees from their portal account using credit cards, digital wallets like PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.
To integrate Braintree with your DreamClass account follow the steps below:
Click “My school”(or “My college”) on the top left corner of your screen
Select the last tab “Integrations”
Click “Enable” on the Braintree option and confirm your choice.
Click on the “Setup payment on Braintree” option and fill in the following information:
a.Select the Braintree environment Sandbox or Production
Use the “Sandbox” option to test the flow of your payments or alternatively
“Production” to proceed with real payments from your account.
b.Add your gateway credentials: Merchant ID, Public Key, and Private Key.
You can find your credentials under the API settings of your Braintree account.
Once you save your options above, you’ll see the status button “Ready” set to green. This means that Step 4 was successfully completed.
Finally at the right side of your screen you can enable online payments for Guardians and/or Students depending on your preference.
