At DreamClass, we know managing student statuses accurately helps keep your portal organized and ensures your subscription reflects real usage. Here’s what each status means and how it impacts your plan:

Active Students:

Active students are currently participating in classes, attending sessions, submitting work, and maintaining records like attendance and grades. They always count toward your subscription because they’re enrolled and your school is maintaining records for them.

Inactive (Deactivated) Students:

Inactive students are not currently participating but may still be enrolled in classes. If they remain enrolled, they continue to count toward your subscription since DreamClass keeps their attendance, grades, and other class data.

What to do:

If you want to retain an inactive student’s records but free a subscription slot, simply unenroll them from all classes. This preserves their information while removing them from the active count.

Unenrolled Students:

Unenrolled students are no longer registered in any class. They don’t count toward your subscription, but their records remain stored in DreamClass for future reference.

Deleted Students:

If you no longer need a student’s data, you can delete them entirely. Keep in mind that deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Quick Summary:

  • Active: Enrolled and participating — counts toward subscription

  • Inactive: Not participating but still enrolled — counts toward subscription

  • Unenrolled: Not in any class — does not count toward subscription

  • Deleted: Removed completely — does not count and all data is erased

✅ To keep records but free a slot: deactivate and unenroll

🗑️ To remove entirely: delete the student

👩‍🏫 To keep them active: ensure they’re enrolled and participating
